Nordkväde - Visdom & Makt - Naturmacht Productions - Review 2020

Nordkväde was formed in late 2017 by Marcus (strings) and Olle (vocals) with an intention to create black metal with an old-school, Nordic and rock n roll touch. Two songs were recorded and released as “Demo Ett” in 2018.

Now the debut full length album “Visdom & Makt” is available through Naturmacht Productions and it contains nine songs of Swedish Black Metal inspired by Nordic Mythology. 

Visdom & Makt starts with a mid-tempo black metal track named 'Kyla' which is quite catchy and with elements of rock n roll & old school black metal as promised and it's not bad at all , they sing in their native language witch is Swedish.
I'd never hear dof the band before and expected some crap to be honest, but I was proven wrong.
This is a quite good and varied black metal album well worth checking out.

Visdom & Makt is a very well executed album.
I believe this band actually has a bright future ahead and Nordkväde is a name you'll hear more often in the coming years.
Some tracks are more towards raw black metal while others are more slowly executed and it all fits very well as a full lenght. 

All in all a very good and entertaining album with interesting riffs & good melodies featuring 9 tracks.
Fans of traditional black metal should definately check this out!
