New Orleans group National Lagarde return with a brand new swinging single My Baby Don’t Bring It. This is a brand new track and their first material since last years swampy groove extravaganza that was the album Story Of A Southern Gentleman.

Here’s what lead-man Terry Lagarde had to say about it; “I have always been influenced by old delta Blues and early rock n roll from this Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee region. And fortunate enough to be from this area and to see a lot of that culture and history. I guess My Baby Don’t Bring It is my little National Lagarde take on that style of music, from Elvis to RL Burnside, they have all had some sort of influence on me as a musician and producer of music.”

Witchgöat -- “Umbra Regit” (Demo) Witchgoat is a eastern band worshipping the oldschool brutal but at the same melodic pure black metal without synth. I have to say this 3 track demo Umbra Regit drew my attention pretty fast and I enjoyed the riffs and structure from first listen. The sound fits the bands soubdscape Perfect and knowing this is a demo I can't wait to hear the full album. I have to credit the band for blending excelent musicianship and the guitarist is on fire With the wicked but very fitting riffs. This is a Power demonstration from Withgoat , the first track was brutal,raw but yet melodic and brought me back to the 80's black metal like Tormentor,Nifelheim and the likes. The demo finishes of With some Nice quitarwork. I don't know what more to say that this is a piece of black metal art how it's done the oldschool way, but still so listenable to fans today. 	In the mid-2016, veteran Salvadorian guitarist P. Scyther started composing music with the idea of erecting a black/thrash metal project that would carry off the effervescence of old school European and Latin American thrash metal, the brutality and the precariousness of the 80s extreme metal, and the melodic ideas of the 90s blackened death metal. Thus, the expedition of conjuring a raw and bona fide old-school sound that is out of any technological refinements had begun. In the beginning of 2017, the drummer E. Driller had become a part of this deadly project and the recording process started immediately under the moniker of WITCHGÖAT. The missing limbs of the ensemble appeared in the middle of 2017 when M. Miasma brought his vomitory vocalizations and creativity and recruited the devoted bass player C. Fog. Since then, this unholy alliance has kept framing mephitic tunes for the debut offering, which they are hoping to produce in the second half of 2018. First demo tape “Umbra Regit” — a ten-plus-minute exhibition of profound malignancy and unstoppable demolition — will be released under the flag of MORBID SKULL RECORDS on July 31, 2018 as a prelude to the debut full length album. “Umbra Regit” demo tapes, limited to 20 Black Shells + 13 White Shells Stained with Putrid Blood, were sold out immediately upon issuing the pre-order. Traditional Death Metal band RANCORUM announce debut album, The Vermin Shrine

Bucharest, Romania based Traditional Death Metal formation RANCORUM announce their debut album, The Vermin Shrine, a full-length material to be released later in the year via Loud Rage Music. In the band's words the album will be "a sordid journey into the ghastly spirit of our World". Expect RANCORUM to take you back in those days where the drums were spine breaking, the guitar riffs were shuddering and the guttural vocals were mind grinding.

“’Divided We Crawl’ captures the essence of where we are today as a society,” explains vocalist Jacques Serrano. “We are so divided and forgetting our history as well. In essence it tells the story of all this division and I hope it helps some open their eyes to make some changes in the world.”

Recorded at California's Trident Studios with producer Juan Urteaga (Machine Head, Exodus) and mastered at Sweden's Fascination Street Studios by Jens Bogren (Sepultura, Kreator), “Warmageddon” is a “look into the future” where a “new world chaos” reigns supreme, according to the band.

CULTURAL WARFARE create music that stays true to the classic Bay Area sound of its time while creating a modern twist in the music to create a melodic, yet aggressive sound. With all five members of the band having long standing roots in the Bay Area back to the golden age of thrash metal, CULTURAL WARFARE understands the rich history and lineage of all the classic bands that paved the way for all heavy bands for the modern age. With that said, the band has created a sound of their own while flying the flag of music that inspired them along the way.

Upon releasing “Future Kill” last year, the group performed throughout the Western United States alongside the likes of Warbringer, Hatchet, Apothesary, The Agonist, Hatriot and others. Whereas the EP found Kevin Doughty playing drums, “Warmageddon” sees him join Billy Garouette on guitar to make room for new percussionist Bones Padilla, a former tech for Biohazard.

The Bay Area has a legacy for great music throughout the decades, and the influence of the region’s thrash metal bands on the international scene is unparalleled. Orth - Nocturno Inferno (NOR) Review

I got this for a cheap price from one of the members on this release on vinyl a few weeks ago.
I've had¨it for some years on a burned cd and thought it was good and finally V-rex decided to release it on all formats CD/LP/Tape in a very limited edition.
I of course prefer the LP verion, not just because I like vinyl but the fact that this recording is kinda divided and honestly side B is my favourite side With a more calm & haunting atmosphere.
The Music we're dealing with here is in Your face black metal ala Emperor 94-95 , or at least I get References to that period due to the arrangements ,vocals and use of synth.

That being said , this is no rip off , it|s black metal anno '96 I believe. Sadly this was never released back then, probably due to the tragic loss of E.Brødreskift (drums) some years later.
It's recorded in Grieghallen studioes which is easy to hear if you where into the Norwegian scene in the 90's and it contains members from bands such as Gorgoroth,Immortal,Aeternus,Borknagar & Arvas.

As far as I know this was Grim, Ares & V-Rex who were recorded this,ct me if I'm wrong.
For me this becomes a 2 sided chapter experience as said and you could almost call it a concept album, but I'm not gonna take it that far, even though each does sound like different concepts though.
This is something you should check out if you're into black, or just Extreme metal in general 'cause it grows on the listener and I'm glad I bought this vinyl 'cause it's a good one to have in the Collection and , since it's a piece of BM history, but most of all cause there are some killer tunes on NOCTURNO INFERNO ,like Moonstorm a furious black metal anthen, Hymn Des Mortes & Den Gamle Manns Profetier to mention some...
