2012
saw Martyrd continue their pattern of growth and dominance in the
metal markets. Highlights included the summer release of their
sophomore album, The Mortal Coil; reaching 14th nationally on
the CMJ Loud Rock Charts; their successful Fall of the
Faithful fall-winter tour; and strong performance of the single "Pain
of Reason" in a wildfire 8-week national radio campaign. In 2013, the
band continues to pursue increased brand awareness through strong
working partnerships with publicists, developers, consultants, and
marketing firms. Martyrd will continue to tour in support of The Mortal Coil through
quarters 2 and 3 of 2013, before heading into the studio to record
their third album in the fourth quarter. Martyrd achieved rapid growth
of their fanbase and market share in 2012, and will continue to grow in
2013 with a full schedule of tour dates, festival appearances,
showcases, and nonstop events.
