In the 90's I was a huge fan of bands like Ved Buens Ende, In The Woods and the more post avant-garde scene that started evolving from the ashes of darker scene during the mid-ninties.
This album is dark,obscure and twisted atmosphere yet wonderfully (un)controlled harmonics as the baseline is very dominant throughout the album.
This could easily have been done totally wrong but due to skilled and creative musician they are walking on the borderline all the way through it all with a nerve so intense it makes a heavy rainy day sound beautifully twisted and chaotic.
The vocals are very familiar to me, but full of surprisingly good vocals and choirs to leave a calm minister totally insane
If you are not familiar with these sounds I strongly suggest you check 'em out 'cause you could be missing the soundtrack to this autumn.
A very melancholic and complex album in many ways ,but certainly worth it if this is your style.
